April 12, 2022: Wiggins, MS 39577 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) and the host Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), saw Bay's softball squad nip Stone by a count of 5-1.
The Tigers now sport a 13-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl River Central for a non-league match on Thursday, April 14. Bay will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 8-2 league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Stone falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Greene County (Leakesville, MS) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Region 7 match on Thursday, April 14. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-9.
