Alabama High School Softball - Marion County bounces Brilliant
April 12, 2022: Brilliant, AL 35548 Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL), 18-0 in a league challenge.
The Red Raiders now own a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 14. Marion County will battle a Aggies squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 17-10.
With the loss, Brilliant falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Tigers host Meek (Arley, AL) to battle the Tigers in a 1A Area 12 challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Meek won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Hubbertville (Fayette, AL)
