Alabama High School Softball - Gordo bounces Holt
April 12, 2022: Gordo, AL 35466 Gordo Green Wave (Gordo, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Holt Ironmen (Holt, AL), 16-1 in a league match.
The Green Wave now sport a 8-16 record. They play next when they travel to American Christian Academy for a 4A Area 6 match on Thursday, April 14. Gordo will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Northside (Northport, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Holt moves to 1-13 on the season. The Ironmen host Pickens County (Reform, AL) to meet the Tornadoes in a non-league match on Thursday, April 14. The Tornadoes go into the match with a record of 2-8. Pickens County lost 17-0 in their recent league match against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL)
