In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) baseball squad triumphed over the host Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), by a final score of 25-6.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Berkeley Springs lost 17-4 in their recent league challenge against Keyser (Keyser, WV)

With the defeat, Braxton County falls to 2-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV) to battle the Hawks in a Little Kanawha challenge on Thursday, April 13.
