April 12, 2023: Lexington, SC 29072 The Midland Valley Mustangs soccer team (Graniteville, SC), was overwhelmed 9-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC)
With the win, Lexington advances its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC) to face the Sabres in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 14. The Sabres enter the challenge with a record of 5-6. Southside Christian won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC)
The Mustangs now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aiken for a AAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, April 14. Midland Valley will face a Fighting Green Hornets team coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets record now stands at 13-3.
