Maryland High School Softball - McDonough bounces Thomas Stone
April 12, 2023: Pomfret, MD 20675 McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Huntingtown for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 14. McDonough will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Thomas Stone falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to battle the Chargers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, April 14. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 0-7. Lackey lost 17-7 in their recent league challenge against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD)
