Kentucky High School Softball - Union County holds off Owensboro
April 12, 2023: Morganfield, KY 42437 The Union County Braves the visiting Owensboro Red Devils softball squad by a final score of 6-4 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Braves (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Rockets go into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Crittenden County nudged Mayfield (Mayfield, KY), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Red Devils now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they host South Spencer for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 13. Owensboro will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 4-6.
