The Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) baseball nipped the host Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA), 2-1 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Fightin' Irish encounter the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) in a West Catholic contest, on Tuesday, April 16. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 12-5 record after their 7-5 league loss to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA).
