The Pace Vikings baseball team (Brownsville, TX), was overwhelmed 22-2 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX)

The Chargers now hold a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porter for a 5A Region IV District 32 outing on Tuesday, April 16. Veterans Memorial will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 16-4.

Next, the Vikings confront the Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Pace will attempt to advance on its 0-23 season record. The Chiefs go into the outing with a 4-16 record after their 10-0 league loss to Lopez (Brownsville, TX).
