Washington High School Softball - Cheney bounces North Central
April 12, 2024: Cheney, WA 99004 The Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) softball routed the visiting North Central Wolfpack (Spokane, WA), 24-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Blackhawks (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Wildcats enter the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Spokane beat Mead (Spokane, WA), 15-5, in a league challenge.
With the loss, North Central falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to battle the Bullpups in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Bullpups enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Gonzaga Prep lost 16-6 in their recent league challenge against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA)
