Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Crockett Bulldogs (Crockett, TX), 22-1 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 20-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tarkington for a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, April 16.

With the loss, Crockett falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Trinity (Trinity, TX) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-14.
