Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Ridge Point will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Fort Bend Austin falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to battle the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Tuesday, April 16.
