North Carolina High School Softball - South Columbus bounces West Columbus
April 12, 2024: Tabor City, NC 28463 South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 18-3 in a league challenge.
The Stallions now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Heide Trask for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 16. South Columbus will battle a Titans squad coming off a 17-3 league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Titans record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, West Columbus falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to battle the Eagles in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. East Bladen lost 17-3 in their recent league challenge against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)
