The Center Grove Trojans baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs to 6 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbus North for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Center Grove will play a Bull Dogs team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN). The Bull Dogs record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Franklin Community drops to 3-2 on the year. The Grizzly cubs host Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Falcons in a Mid-State test on Tuesday, April 15. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 1-2. Perry Meridian won 2-1 in their recent league test against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN)
