Kentucky High School Baseball - Cooper edges Holy Cross
April 12, 2025: Covington, KY 41015 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) and the host Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), saw Cooper's baseball team gain a win over Holy Cross by a tally of 11-8.
The Jaguars (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers enter the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Simon Kenton by Walton-Verona (Walton, KY), 6-3, in a league battle.
Next, the Indians face the Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 12. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Thoroughbreds enter the battle with a 10-5 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY).
