Louisiana High School Baseball - Southside edges St. Thomas More
April 12, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70508 The Southside Sharks baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host St. Thomas More Cougars to 6 in the Sharks non-league win on Saturday.
The Sharks now own a 19-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league test on Monday, April 14. Southside will play a Indians team coming off a 8-0 league win over West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Indians record now stands at 22-9.
With the defeat, St. Thomas More drops to 23-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 27-6. Parkview Baptist won 8-5 in their recent non-league test against Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA)
