In Saturday's non-league bout, the St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV) baseball squad edged the visiting Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Irish encounter the Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV) in a Freelance bout, on Monday, April 14. St. Joseph Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
