April 12, 2025: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Glenbard West advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL) to face the Huskies in a West Suburban test on Tuesday, April 15. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 10-1. Oak Park-River Forest won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Fenwick (Oak Park, IL)
The Blackhawks now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Elgin for a test on Tuesday, April 15. West Aurora will face a Storm squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL). The Storm record now stands at 12-5.
