In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Aurora Central Catholic Chargers softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Winnebago Indians.

The Chargers (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Richmond-Burton notched a victory over Harvard (Harvard, IL), 9-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a Big Northern match, on Monday, April 14. Winnebago will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL).
