April 12, 2025: Rainsville, AL 35986 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) and the visiting Ider Hornets (Ider, AL), observed Plainview's softball team notch a victory over Ider by a final score of 19-2.
The Bears (23-6) will now prepare for their bout against Skyline (Scottsboro, AL). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 7-21 record. In their last bout, Skyline was routed by Sardis (Boaz, AL), 9-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Section Lions (Section, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Ider will attempt to better on its 24-8 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Geraldine (Geraldine, AL).
