April 12, 2025: Tarboro, NC 27886 The North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) softball routed the visiting Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC), 7-0 in Saturday's league outing.
The Warriors now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Halifax for a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Monday, April 14. North Edgecombe will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 17-2 league loss to Weldon (Weldon, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Wilson Prep moves to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Weldon (Weldon, NC) to encounter the Chargers in a Tar Roanoke 1A outing on Monday, April 14. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 4-0. Weldon won 17-2 in their recent league outing against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC)
