Connecticut High School Softball - Stamford bounces Greenwich
April 13, 2021: Stamford, CT 06902 Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 14-1 in a league challenge.
The Black Knights now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Danbury for a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, April 14. Stamford will battle a Hatters squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Hatters record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Greenwich falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to battle the Falcons in a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, April 14. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Ludlowe won 19-0 in their recent league challenge against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT)
