The Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) baseball nipped the visiting Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA), 4-3 in Wednesday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 contest, on Tuesday, April 19. Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA).
