Arizona High School Softball - Coronado falls to Cortez
April 13, 2022: Scottsdale, AZ 85257 In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Cortez Colts softball team scored a nice 30-12 win over the Coronado Dons.
Coming up next, the Colts encounter the Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon outing, on Friday, April 15. Cortez will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 13-9 record after their 15-4 non-league win over American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ).
The Dons (0-13) will now prepare for their outing against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes enter the 4A Black Canyon outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Combs ran past Cortez (Phoenix, AZ), 20-1, in a league outing.
