Connecticut High School Softball - Hand holds off North Haven
April 13, 2022: Madison, CT 06443 The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) and the visiting North Haven Indians (North Haven, CT), saw Hand's softball squad nip North Haven by a count of 4-2.
The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamden for a non-league match on Monday, April 18. Hand will face a Green Dragons squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to East Haven (East Haven, CT). The Green Dragons record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, North Haven falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT) to face the Crusaders in a Southern Connecticut - Oronoque match on Saturday, April 16. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 2-3. Lauralton Hall won 8-5 in their recent non-league match against Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT)
