In Thursday's league challenge, the Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) baseball squad the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN), by a final score of 12-7.

With the win, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Golden Bears host Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Hagerstown lost 10-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN)

With the defeat, Blue River Valley falls to 1-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN) to battle the Royals in a Mid-Eastern challenge on Tuesday, April 18.
