In Tuesday's league challenge, the Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), by a final score of 6-5.

With the win, Blue River Valley upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Vikings host Wapahani (Selma, IN) to battle the Raiders in a Mid-Eastern challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. Wapahani won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Knightstown (Knightstown, IN)
