In Thursday's league challenge, the North Newton Spartans (Morocco, IN) baseball squad the host Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN), by a final score of 6-4.

With the win, North Newton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Spartans host DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN) to encounter the Knights in a Midwest challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. DeMotte Christian lost 22-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN)

With the defeat, Frontier falls to 1-4 on the season. The Falcons host Attica (Attica, IN) to encounter the Red Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17.
