Nevada High School Volleyball - Spring Valley can't hold off Somerset Sky Pointe

In Thursday's league battle, the host Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Spring Valley Grizzlies.

The Eagles (11-14) will now prepare for their battle against Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons come into the 4A - Desert battle with a 16-17 record. In their last battle, Del Sol was edged by Narbonne (Harbor City, CA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Grizzlies encounter the Mojave Rattlers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A - Desert battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Spring Valley will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Rattlers come into the battle with a 12-18 record after their 3-0 league win over Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV).
