Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Smithfield drops to Mt. Hope

April 13, 2023: Esmond, RI 02917

In Thursday's league test, the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Smithfield Sentinels.

The Huskies now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mansfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 18.

In their next game, the Sentinels face the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a Division 2 test, on Monday, April 17. Smithfield will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 8-7 league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
