South Carolina High School Soccer - Fountain Inn holds off Southside
April 13, 2023: Fountain Inn, SC 29644 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) and the visiting Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), saw Fountain Inn's soccer squad get by Southside by a count of 3-2.
The Fury now hold a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Powdersville for a test on Tuesday, April 18. Fountain Inn will meet a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 league win over Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 10-2.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a bout, on Monday, April 24. Southside will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record.
