In Thursday's non-league contest, the Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) softball team the visiting Cory-Rawson Hornets (Rawson, OH), by a margin of 9-6.

With the triumph, Ridgemont moves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Golden Gophers travel to Ada (Ada, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Friday, April 14. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 3-0.
