In Saturday's league contest, the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) softball team overwhelmed the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), by a margin of 15-3.

With the triumph, Upper Scioto Valley moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Rams travel to Hardin Northern (Dola, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a Northwest Central contest on Monday, April 17. The Polar Bears come into the contest with a record of 3-9. Hardin Northern won 16-4 in their recent league contest against Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH)

In their next game, the Golden Gophers play the Perry Commodores (Lima, OH) in a Northwest Central contest, on Monday, April 17. Ridgemont will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record.
