California High School Softball - Heritage knocked off by Poly

In Thursday's league contest, the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Heritage Patriots (Menifee, CA), by a margin of 13-3.

With the triumph, Poly moves its record to 18-0 on the year. The Bears host Hemet (Hemet, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a contest on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 14-5. Hemet lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA)

In their next game, the Patriots play the Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Heritage will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 16-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Hemet (Hemet, CA).
