In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Western Branch Bruins baseball team scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Walsingham Academy Trojans.

The Bruins (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Southeastern game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Lakeland tipped Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 17-4, in a non-league game.
