April 13, 2024: Akron, OH 44303 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bishop Fenwick Falcons (Franklin, OH) and the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish (Akron, OH), saw Bishop Fenwick's volleyball squad beat St. Vincent-St. Mary by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Bishop Fenwick upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Archbishop McNicholas (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Rockets in a Greater Catholic Co-Ed bout on Monday, April 15. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Archbishop McNicholas won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH)
The Fighting Irish now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 13. St. Vincent-St. Mary will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-1.
