Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), 13-12 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Damonte Ranch for a 5A North challenge on Saturday, April 13. Reno will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Damonte Ranch falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Reno (Reno, NV) to face the Huskies in a 5A North challenge on Saturday, April 13. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Reno lost 20-8 in their recent league challenge against Reed (Sparks, NV)
