Kentucky High School Softball - Somerset bounces Danville Christian Academy
April 13, 2024: Somerset, KY 42501 Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Danville Christian Academy Warriors (Danville, KY), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Briar Jumpers now sport a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barren County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 13. Somerset will face a Trojans squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Danville Christian Academy falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Boyle County (Danville, KY) to face the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Boyle County lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH)
