Illinois High School Softball - Lincolnwood can't hold off Litchfield
April 13, 2024: Litchfield, IL 62056 The Litchfield Purple Panthers softball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers to 1 in the Purple Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Litchfield improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Purple Panthers travel to Carlinville (Carlinville, IL) to clash with the Cavaliers in a South Central game on Monday, April 15. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 13-3. Carlinville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Rochester (Rochester, IL)
In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Hillsboro Hiltoppers (Hillsboro, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 13. Lincolnwood will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Hiltoppers come into the game with a 8-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to Carlinville (Carlinville, IL).
