Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) and the host New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS), witnessed Pontotoc's softball squad tip New Hope by a count of 4-0.

The Warriors now sport a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Clarksdale for a 5A Region 1 match on Monday, April 15. Pontotoc will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-10.
