In Monday's non-league game, the host Howard Huskies baseball team scored a close 9-8 win over the Northeast Raiders.

The Huskies (8-13) will now prepare for their game against Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 12-15 record. In their last game, Northside nudged Westside (Macon, GA), 12-1, in a non-league contest.

The Raiders now possess a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Laurens for a A D1 Region 2 contest on Tuesday, April 14. Northeast will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 13-13.
