In Monday's league test, the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), by a tally of 13-2.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa test, on Tuesday, April 14. Christopher will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 5-10 record after their 8-4 league loss to Independence (San Jose, CA).

The 76ers (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Pirates go into the Santa Teresa test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Piedmont Hills was routed by Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 9-2, in a non-league test.
