In Monday's league match, the visiting Taft Eagles softball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Lane Tech Champions.

The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their match against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Downers Grove North by Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 8-7, in a league match.
