The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) and the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), observed Riverside's softball team notch a victory over Nitro by a final score of 20-9.

The Warriors (11-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins go into the Mountain State bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Hurricane was routed by Logan (Logan, WV), 3-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 14. Nitro will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 4-2 league loss to Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV).
