The Clinton Dark Horses softball team (Clinton, NC), was routed 17-3 in Wednesday's league test with the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC)

Coming up next, the Raiders clash with the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a East Central 2A test, on Monday, April 19. Midway will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 5-4 record after their 15-2 league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).

The Dark Horses (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC). The Cougars come into the East Central 2A test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Goldsboro overcame James Kenan (Warsaw, NC), 15-5, in a league test.
