Washington High School Baseball - Lake Washington gets by Bellevue
April 14, 2022: Kirkland, WA 98033 Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) and the visiting Bellevue Wolverines (Bellevue, WA), saw Lake Washington's baseball squad knock off Bellevue by a count of 4-1.
Coming up next, the Kangaroos play the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) in a 3A KingCo battle, on Friday, April 15. Lake Washington will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Islanders enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 6-2 league loss to Juanita (Kirkland, WA).
The Wolverines now possess a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Sammamish for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 16. Bellevue will play a RedHawks squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Tyee (SeaTac, WA). The RedHawks record now stands at 11-3.
