The Covenant Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons to 7 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Tigers go into the Freelance match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Hargrave Military Academy was overwhelmed by Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA), 19-2, in a league match.

The Caissons (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Carlisle (Martinsville, VA). The Chiefs go into the VISAA Virginia Independent match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Carlisle edged Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA), 13-0, in a league match.
