Virginia High School Baseball - Covenant nips Blue Ridge

March 29, 2022: Charlottesville, VA 22902

Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, Covenant upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to North Cross (Roanoke, VA) to battle the Raiders in a VISAA Virginia Independent test on Friday, April 1. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-2. North Cross won 10-0 in their recent league test against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA)

With the defeat, Blue Ridge falls to 1-2 on the season. The Barons host Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 30. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 4-0. Fork Union Military Academy won 8-0 in their recent league test against St. Anne's-Belfield (Charlottesville, VA)
