West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA), 6-1 in a league test.

With the win, West Perry upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, April 16. The Lions come into the test with a record of 5-1. Camp Hill won 8-0 in their recent league test against East Pennsboro (Enola, PA)

With the defeat, James Buchanan falls to 2-7 on the season. The Rockets host Northern York (Dillsburg, PA) to battle the Polar Bears in a Mid-Penn - Colonial test on Tuesday, April 19.
