April 14, 2022: Rye, NY 10580 Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY), 6-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Rye upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Garnets host Byram Hills (Armonk, NY) to battle the Bobcats in a Section 1 Conference 2 - D test on Monday, April 25. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 5-0.
With the defeat, John Jay falls to 4-3 on the season. The Wolves host Walter Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 16. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-0. Walter Panas won 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Brewster (Brewster, NY)
